Full Keto Cheat Review
Keto Cheat is a new natural fat loss aid from Sheer Strength. Sheer Strength make a number of bodybuilding supplements, some of which we have already reviewed on this site (see our full Sheer Thermo review and our Sheer Strength Fat Burner For Women review for more).
They are a popular brand, and they seem to be enjoying some pretty steady growth.
So what is this stack all about?
What is Keto Cheat designed to do exactly?
Keto Cheat is apparently part of Sheer Strength’s KETO SERIES. It is not like most of the products that we review on this site in that it seems to be more of a diet aid than a bodybuilding supplement.
On the box Keto Cheat is described as a “ketogenic carb blocker”.
According to the bottle, this supplement provides the following key benefits:
- Reduced carbohydrate absorption
- Mitigate cheat meal damage
- Support weight loss
Any mention of “carb blocking” is a major red flag to us.
If you’re an athlete in training for a major competition, then you need to know exactly what your food intake is each day.
Carbohydrates are a vital part of your diet. Without carbs, you won’t be able to build any new muscle mass, and you won’t have the energy you need to get through your workouts.
Yes, cutting involves reducing your caloric intake.
But that doesn’t mean you need to get rid of carbs; it means you need to eat fewer calories overall.
It certainly doesn’t mean that you can afford to be totally unaware as to how much carbs you are actually absorbing per day.
We also have serious gripes with the whole “ketosis” fad.
More on all of this later.
For now, we need to start looking at Sheer Strength Keto Cheat in more detail.
Does it do everything it says on the tin?
Do you really want a “carb blocker”?
Is such a thing even practically possible?
Is Keto Cheat safe? What are the likely health risks?
We cover all of these questions and more in our Keto Cheat review, found below. We start off, as always, by looking at the ingredients, their doses, and their relative effectiveness. Please post any questions to the comments section at the bottom.
Sheer Strength Keto Cheat Formula
Here is the Keto Cheat formula in full:
First impressions aren’t good.
We’re sorry to say that this is a pretty pathetic formula.
As far as fat loss aids go, this is a poor attempt.
Few people are likely to see real results while using this stack.
We certainly don’t think it is suitable for serious boxers, bodybuilders, and so on.
We don’t even think it is a good choice for those of you just looking to get into shape over summer.
We have three main issues with Keto Cheat, which we’ll now go through one by one in no particular order.
Keto Cheat’s Goals Are Misguided – Carbs Don’t Make You Fat!
As far as we’re concerned, there isn’t a single person who stands to really benefit from a carb blocker.
Many people mistakenly think that carbohydrates make you fat, and that anyone looking to get lean needs to cut out this food group altogether.
That is wrong.
Carbs are a necessary part of a healthy human diet.
Carbs do not make you fat.
Calories make you fat – too many of them to be precise.
Lots of people find that they lose weight when cutting out carbs, but that is just because they are usually controlling their eating for the first time in their lives.
They find that they can’t eat out as easily, so they’re forced to be more disciplined.
Serving sizes get smaller, and their caloric intake plummits.
Carbs aren’t the important piece of this process; diet control is the key.
So even if Keto Cheat blocks every single carb you consume, you will still get fatter and fatter unless you are eating fewer calories than you expend.
Athletes Need Carbs
If you’re looking to be both lean and muscular, then you do not want to cut carbs out of your diet.
The reason why bodybuilders’ muscles look so thick and rounded (that ‘pop’ that bodybuilders have) is because they are full of glycogen.
If you deplete your glycogen stores, your muscles will look flat.
Carbohydrates are what make your muscles look bulky and thick.
You also need carbs to build new muscle mass.
Yes protein is important, but the amount of protein required to build muscle is very small.
But unless you consume plenty of carbohydrates, you will find it very hard to build any new muscle mass.
If you’re a bodybuilder, cutting out carbs completely is a bad idea (unless you’re on steroids, which is a real game changer physiologically).
Much more importantly, if you’re an athlete trying to lean down for an important contest (be it a fight, a weight lifting meet, or a bodybuilding show), then you need your performance in training to be 100% in the preceeding weeks.
You can’t afford to have your energy levels depleted and your recovery shot if you’re trying to break a powerlifting record in 4 weeks time.
You need every training session to be incredibly intense.
You need to hit your lifts.
And you need to recover properly.
Cutting out the carbs will jeopardize all of this; your performance, your training intensity, and your recovery.
Carb Blockers Ruin Diet Planning
Imagine if all of the above wasn’t true.
Imagine that all you had to do to squat 700lbs or look like Jay Cutler was to eat steak and asparagus.
Well you still need to be able to plan your diet properly.
Carb blockers say they reduce carbohydrate ‘uptake’, but we have no idea by how much.
We don’t know how efficient they are, how long they last for, or if they block the absorption of all forms of carbs.
They might block the sugars in your coke from being absorbed, but they mightn’t block all of the aotmeal you eat 3 hours after taking Keto Cheat.
So you can’t plan your diet properly.
You can’t gaugue your carb intake accurately.
Show us a serious athlete who can afford to gamble with their food intake before an important contest, and we’ll show you someone destined for failure.
Main Issue – Keto Cheat Uses Poor Formula
Even though Keto Cheat’s stated aims are completely misguided in our opinion, that isn’t end of story.
We could still have a good supplement on our hands if it ACTUALLY helped with fat loss in other ways.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t.
The main ingredient is White Kidney Bean Extract.
As far as we’re aware, there is NO EVIDENCE whatsoever that this stuff enhances fat loss or physical performance.
There isn’t even the kind of anecdotal evidence for White Kidney Bean that supports stuff like Garcinia Cambogia.
Not only is there no scientific support, but gym rats don’t even rave about it.
Cinnamon is a cheap, widely available spice that does nothing for fat loss.
It doesn’t aid your performance in the gym.
It doesn’t block carb absorption.
It just makes your cappuccino taste better.
Green tea extract is a great natural fat burner, but 250mg is a paltry serving size.
The best fat burners contain twice this amount, if not more.
Since the other two ingredients are so useless, we can’t get too excited about the green tea extract.
Even if the serving size was bigger, most of the best fat burners on the market today utilize green tea alongside 5-8 other potent fat loss accelerators.
250mg of green tea extract can’t save this weak, ineffective formula.

Keto Cheat Side Effects
The only good thing that you might say about Sheer Strength Keto Cheat is that side effects seem incredibly unlikely.
The ingredients are all pretty much benign.
Green tea has some serious fat burning potential, but 250mg isn’t going to do very much at all.
White kidney bean is obviously going to do nothing, good or bad.
The same is true of cinnamon.
As always though, just because a stack looks safe to us does not mean that it is safe for evry single individual.
You need to be aware of your own intolerances, sensitivites and allergies before you use a supplement like Keto Cheat.
We aren’t doctors, and the people telling you to buy Keto Cheat right now do not have your best interests at heart.
If you are seriously obese, then fat burners are not what you are looking for.
These products are designed for fit, athletic individuals who need help getting the most out of their cutting phase, or to be in tip top condition for their bodybuilding show.
They aren’t a cure for obesity. You need a good diet and exercise regimen for that.

Keto Cheat Review Conclusion
All in all, it’s hard to find anything good to say about Keto Cheat.
If you’re read the the above Sheer Strength Keto Cheat review in its entirity, you’ll know that there isn’t anything we like about this stack.
For starters, we don’t think a carb blocker is a good option for anybody.
Carbohydrates don’t make you fat. Excess calories make you fat.
A lack of carbohydrates, on the other hand, will leave you flat, your muscles deflated, your mood on the floor, and your performance in the gym rapidly deteriorating.
If you’re an athlete cutting down for a contest, carb blockers are the last thing you need.
They also mean that you can’t properly plan your diet since you have no idea how much carbs are being blocked.
Even ignoring the stated goals of Sheer Strength Keto Cheat, we think this is a pretty low quality supplement.
The formula is just two totally bogus, utterly benign ingredients and a small serving of green tea.
Not worth the price tag at all.
